YPFB Strikes Deal with Bolivian Gas Pipeline Factory

The plant was inaugurated on December 30 by Bolivian president Evo Morales in the city of El Alto to manufacture about 1,200 kilometers of pipes and 30,000 accessories per year.
The head of Hydrocarbons pointed out that the pipes produced serve to install water and irrigation networks, so the Bolivian Hydrocarbon Industrialization Company - in charge of the factory - can market the pipelines nationwide.
According to Sánchez, the plant will allow YPFB to save resources from import importing pipes.
