Cuba, Dom Rep Sign Immigration Agreements
Santo Domingo, Apr 21 (Prensa Latina) Cuban and Dominican authorities are concluding today the 9th round of talks on migration issues that will help strengthen relations between the two countries, Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister, Ana Teresita Gonzalez Fraga, said.
This mechanism was established to review migration relations, in order to strengthen the existing bilateral ties, Gonzalez told Prensa Latina, adding that the two-day talks have been cordial, frank and direct.
The two sides will sign today the final document of the result of the talks, to achieve a legal, orderly and secure migration, and continue adopting measures to jointly fight trafficking of people and illegal trafficking of immigrants, the deputy minister said as essential items.
