The search for the San Juan submarine will continue until the available means are exhausted beyond all this elapsed time. The depths are wide; the area although it was limited is large, Balbi added.
He also noted that at this time in the area where contact with the submarine was lost there are five scientific research units with different sensors searching through the seabed and tomorrow the expected Russian Pantera Plus that goes down to a depth of 1,000 meters will reach the searching area.
Although the rescue phase ended yesterday, the Government has affirmed that they will consider the 44 crew members dead only when strong evidence appears and that the search will continue until they reach the ARA San Juan, whose contact was lost in the Gulf of San Jorge last Wednesday, November 15 when it returned to its station in Mar del Plata.
