Hanoi, Aug 17 (Prensa Latina) In times of tablets and cells, books will give a new battle when next week Viet Nam celebrates in a central park of this capital its annual international fair. The Ministry of Information and Communications announced that the event will be held from next 23 to 27 with the presence of 66 national editions and seven foreign ones.


In some 80 available stands in Thong Nhat park, alongside one of the largest lakes se Hanoi, 40,000 titles will be shown and sold, among them, the winners of the so-called awards Ho Chi Minh and the State.

At the same time, 20 round tables, discussions, seminars and other activities to which are going to partake editors, specialists in authors' right and national and foreign writers.

This is a good opportunity for exchanging experiences between editors and book distributors, promoting new publications, and expanding international cooperation in this field, commented the Ministry of Information and Communications.

According to the CEO of the Press, Information and Publications Department, Chu Van Hoa, in his former five editions the fair and its collateral activities attracted a great number of people and contributed to encourage reading habits in the community.
