Prensa Latina, with headquarters in Havana, Cuba, was founded in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution's victory and with five decades of experience in covering today's news in Latin America and the world, it offers a 24-hour news service with the highest topicality, supported by its correspondent's offices, especially in this continent.

Newspapers and radio and television stations all over Latin America and in other areas contract its services through different channels, while other users, either entities or private individuals, can access all its informative volume using the Internet.

Besides political, economic, cultural, scientific, technical and sports pieces of news, comments and approaches, the content of its different printed publications can be found on the PL website, with a large part of them offering detailed information about a great variety of subjects on the Cuban reality and a comprehensive tourist guide of Havana, CD-ROMs produced by our agency's Multimedia Division, and books published by its publishing house.
