The source alluded to a message on social networks posted by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Yavad Zarif who testified about Washington’s lack of moral authority to criticize Iran.

The US government is deeply involved in attempts to assassinate key figures in Venezuela and Haiti, Zarif said, while responding to an accusation by the US State Department.

According to the State Department, Tehran was deeply involved in the kidnapping of a critical Iranian journalist living in New York.

US-financed killers have been plotting -supported by the White House- to assassinate leaders in Venezuela and Haiti, trying to accuse others to hide their criminal ties, Zarif stressed.

Zarif urged the US authorities to take a look at the history of assassinations, kidnappings and crimes committed by US agents before accusing others.
