4 possible Omicron cases reported in Brazil

Brasilia, Dec 13 (Prensa Latina) Brazilian health authorities on Monday reported about the detection of four possible cases of Omicron variant.

The Minas Gerais Health Department confirmed these are two women and two men who entered the country from Ghana, South Africa and Mozambique.

As part of current protocols, the 4 cases are in isolation at health centers in the city of Belo Horizonte.

In Minas Gerais, the Delta variant is the most common among those positive for Covid-19, a disease that has reported 110 new cases.
