According to the regional institution, unpublished texts that contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the music and culture of Latin America and the Caribbean, based on the various concepts and procedures of contemporary social sciences, will be accepted.
According to the rules, contestants must send their creations digitally through the platform http://premiocasa.cu, available until Friday, February 11, 2022 for admission that they will be considered original even if two thirds of the works have been published.
Among the main themes of the event are musical historiography, interpretation and critical explanation of musical creation, traditional and folk music.
Also theory and practice of music teaching, global theoretical frameworks of musicology, as well as problems related to aesthetics, sociology and anthropology of music.
Since its foundation, the award defends and stimulates scientific research, knowledge and dissemination of this artistic expression.
