Through decree 335-23, Abinader decided to extend the legislature from tomorrow until next August 15, with the purpose of knowing the pending bills, as well as any other that the President of the Republic submits to the National Congress or other constitutional body endowed with constituent initiative.
In the National Congress, the modification of the Criminal Code, which is on the agenda in the Chamber of Deputies, the reforms to the Social Security and Rental Law, are unfinished.
Also, the report of the special commission that investigated and determined serious misconduct in the Chamber of Accounts; the Law of Public Procurement and Contracting of Hydrocarbons, Law of Water, among others.
The current legislature ended today, July 26.
