In statements to Brazilian media on Monday, Boluarte pointed out that Lula is a friendly president and a good host, and they talked about the Amazon and the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization Summit (ACTO), the reason why she traveled to Brazil.
She pointed out that they agreed to focus on the inhabitants of the Amazon, who deserve the support of their governments. “He is also hurt by the poverty rooted” in that territory.
Boluarte went on to say that the eight countries with territories in the South American jungle should form a united bloc to go out to the world to ask for resources for the region’s sustainable development.
She ratified her proposal to give the Amazon a human face and greeted from a distance the aboriginal communities in Peru’s vast jungle.
