“Great attention was paid to cooperation in terms of security in the region and, on a broader level, on the Eurasian continent, including the joint fight against terrorism and other threats and challenges,” Lavrov noted at a press conference.
The senior diplomatic official underscored that participants of the meeting expressed solidarity with Russia over the March 22 terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert hall, located on the northwestern outskirts of Moscow.
The ministers also discussed U.S. interference in the internal affairs of CIS member countries.
Washington and its satellites are trying to invade the regions of our common space, they are trying to undermine the agreements on stabilization of the situation in the South Caucasus, they do not want to allow the implementation of the agreements that were reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan with the help of Russia, Lavrov stressed.
