The launching took place at Cuba’s emblematic Hotel Nacional, a setting that, according to Barre, matches the presentation of this new jewel in the Havana Club range, which is part of the iconic Tributo series of rums.

Barre recalled that the first Tributo rum showcase took place in 2016 to celebrate the know-how of the rum masters, who with their creative capacity and innovation offer us these exceptional products.

“It is a night to celebrate tradition, innovation and international collaboration,” Barre stressed and highlighted that Tributo 2025 is born from Cuban excellence and the heritage of Irish whiskey.

This exceptional Cuban rum, meticulously aged and finished in Redbreast Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey casks from the Middleton distillery in Cork, Ireland, will undoubtedly appeal to the most discerning spirits lovers, he said.

In his opinion, it is a bottle that meets international luxury standards and at the same time recalls the architecture of Havana city, particularly its most beautiful houses and palaces.

Part of the design is the Giraldilla logo, guardian of the city, and a nod to the Cuban rum masters, recognizing them as masters of Cuban rum culture.

Tributo 2025 will be available in more than 20 international markets starting in April, priced at 450 euros per bottle.

In Cuba, the product will be available from February 6, 2025.

Havana Club products won 58 awards in 2024 and 518 since 1994, worldwide.
