As the organizers explained to the press, the event will become a platform for interaction between Russia and the countries of the so-called Global South, where important aspects of the development of these technologies will be discussed, as well as new initiatives and proposals, the creation of conditions for business dialogue and the possible signing of mutually beneficial agreements.

Representatives of government agencies from 122 countries, companies, academic communities and international and regional organizations are invited to attend.

During the sessions of the Global Digital Forum, a high-level segment on digital development is planned, where 1,500 foreign representatives will meet and another 10,000 will participate online.

The central themes of the forum include the reduction of the digital breach, the development of the potential of the countries of the so-called Global South, interaction in the field of artificial intelligence, the exchange of experiences in information security and the training of human resources.

In addition, the agenda includes discussions on cooperation in the field of education, the improvement of media and digital literacy, and the recognition of false information.

Another priority is international information security in the context of achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals until 2030, as well as the implementation of the decisions of the World Summit on Information Societies.
