According to the specialist, fighters from the Center group of troops approached the town of Karpovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and began fighting to capture it.

Marochko also noted that Russian units broke through the defenses of Ukrainian troops near the settlement of Redkodub and crossed the Nitrius River. According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were surprised by the rapid advance of Russian fighters and did not have time to reinforce the second and third lines of defense.

The Russian army approached Grigorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and engaged the Ukrainian forces aiming to capture the settlement after occupying Ukrainian positions on the Zherebets River.
