“We intend to comprehensively develop our cooperation with African countries, emphasizing on the aforementioned aspects, and in this regard, we will continue our collaboration with these nations,” the presidential spokesman stated.
The first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum was held on November 9th and 10th, 2024. The event was attended by approximately 1,500 delegates, including more than 40 ministers from the African continent. The participants adopted a joint declaration.
According to the document, Russia and African countries are ready to establish a dialogue mechanism at the highest level with the aim of strengthening security and coordination in the fight against terrorism.
There are plans to hold a second conference of this level this fall.
