According to local reports, this is the second incursion into the area in just a few hours, creating an atmosphere of tension and anxiety among local residents.
The local news network “Deraa 24” reported that Israeli military vehicles crossed the border fence and parked in the aforementioned village, before withdrawing.
This incursion comes hours after a similar incursion in the town of Kodna, where Israeli patrols were spotted with reconnaissance aircraft coverage.
Last Saturday, an Israeli army contingent raided the village of Al-Asha, searched several homes, and remained there for a while before abandoning the village.
These actions represent a significant escalation in the pace of Israeli violations in southern Syria, at a time when the region is experiencing heightened tensions due to the escalation between Iran and Israel, and the latter’s interception of drones in the skies above the region.
Israeli attacks against Syria have intensified since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government last December.
Its forces launched hundreds of raids against Syrian military sites with the aim of destroying them and preventing the reconstruction of their infrastructure.
This coincided with ground incursions into rural areas of Damascus, Quneitra, and Daraa, where they took control of the buffer zone and subsequently carried out incursions into border areas.
