Orsi obtained a 46 percent approval rating, the pollster’s report says.

Factum indicated that 31 percent neither approve nor disapprove; 22 percent reject her and two percent answered that they do not know or do not answer.

“The balance of approval is positive, with a relatively high proportion of those who neither approve nor disapprove,” the analysis published on Factum’s website says.

It points out “at least two major points” in the analysis of “that portion where almost a third of the population neither approves nor disapproves of the administration”.

The report took into account “the short time since the inauguration (March 1st) until the moment of measurement”.

It notes that the beginning of the new government “has not had a transcendent imprint in terms of agenda or transformations, rather it has been a cautious beginning, with few announcements and without the idea of deep transformations”.

In Montevideo the president’s performance reaches 50 percent of acceptance; in the interior it is 43 percent.
