Indian Prime Minister to continue State visit in Brazil

Brasilia, July 8 (Prensa Latina) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will continue a state visit, during which he is expected to develop mechanisms for expanding the India-Brazil Strategic Partnership; therefore, his arrival in Brasilia following a productive participation at BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro.

As part of his agenda in Brasilia, Modi will hold talks with President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva about expanding the partnership between the two countries in trade, defense, energy, space, technology, agriculture, health, and people-to-people ties.

The Indian leader added that they will strengthen India’s friendship with various nations and hold bilateral meetings with other leaders.

In his final address at the Summit, Modi affirmed that under India’s presidency in 2026, the BRICS will enter a new phase aimed at building resilience and innovation for cooperation and sustainability.

Previously, as part of his international tour, Modi visited Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, and Argentina.

In the final leg of his international tour, the Indian head of government will pay a state visit to Namibia on July 9, where he is expected to meet with President Nandi-Ndaitwah, among other activities.
