Ukrainian President rejects new Kiev-Moscow talks

Kiev, July 11 (Prensa Latina) Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky stated that dialogue with Moscow is impossible until the previously agreed-upon exchanges between the parties are completed, the Ura.ru news agency reported.

According to the report, the Ukrainian president’s statement was made at a press conference following the summit in Rome, where the topic of Western aid for Ukraine’s reconstruction after the cessation of hostilities was discussed.

“There will be no talks between Ukraine and Russia for now, as the exchanges we previously agreed on have not yet been completed,” Zelenski told reporters in an appearance that was broadcast by the social network YouTube.

The Ukrainian president also commented on the situation in the Russian armed forces.

He expressed his opinion that his counterpart, Vladimir Putin, intends to increase the size of the army to 1,5 million personnel instead of the current 1,2 million.
