According to the military body’s report published Wednesday on its official Telegram channel, the Eastern group troops, after heavy fighting, occupied the town of Novokuznetsk in Donetsk.

The Ministry of Defense also estimated 425 casualties among Ukrainian troops over the past day in the area of operations of the Central group; additionally, the Western group caused more than 220 casualties to the enemy; the Eastern group – up to 200.

Meanwhile, units of the Northern group inflicted 180 casualties on the enemy, and in the area of responsibility of the Southern group, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost up to 160 troops; in the area of the Dnieper grouping, losses amounted to up to 70 men.

The Western group also destroyed 19 vehicles, two electronic warfare stations, and five ammunition depots, while the Central group destroyed two armored vehicles and three artillery pieces.
