“Russian units took the settlements of Degtiárnoe in the region of Kharkov, Popov Yar in the People’s Republic of Donetsk and Kámenskoe in the region of Zaporozhie,” said the military agency’s statement published on Thursday on its official Telegram channel.

The military portfolio also reported that on the last day alone in the area of the special military operation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered 1,185 casualties.

More than one third of these casualties, 420, resulted from operations by the Centre troop group.

The West group also caused 215 enemy casualties on the last day; the East group, 190; the North group, 160; the South group, 135; and the Dnieper group, 65.

The losses of war material on the Ukrainian side in the last day include two tanks, eight armoured vehicles, half a hundred cars and almost twenty artillery systems.
