At the commemoration of the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army held in Havana, the diplomat assured that his country will always speak out in defense of justice for Cuba.
Hua also expressed his congratulations to the Cuban army and people on the 72nd anniversary of the attacks on Moncada Garrison in Santiago de Cuba and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes Garrison in Bayamo.
During the ceremony, the head of Chinese diplomacy emphasized on the importance of preserving historical memory, upholding the authority of the United Nations, and promoting international justice.
He warned that unilateralism, protectionism, hegemonism, and the politics of force pose serious challenges to the world.
Hua remembered, in his speech, that 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the end of World War II (WWII), and the eighth decades of the United Nations.
