Raul Castro leads Cuba’s Rebelliousness Day commemoration (+Photos)

Havana, Jul 26 (Prensa Latina) Raul Castro, leader of the Cuban Revolution, presided over the central act for the island's National Rebelliousness Day, held in Ciego de Avila province on Saturday.

About 10,000 people were present at the Maximo Gomez Square for the commemoration, also led by President Miguel Diaz-Canel.

Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdes Menendez, Rebel Army Commander Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, and other party and government leaders, also participated.

Citizens from 23 nations, members of solidarity groups with Cuba, also attended the event commemorating the 72nd anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada Garrison in Santiago de Cuba and the Carlos Manuel de Cespedes Garrison in Bayamo.
