According to reports, the Intelligence Directorate carried out a series of security actions that resulted in the arrest of five citizens for being part of a cell that were supporting the Daesh terrorist organization.

Initial investigations revealed that the group was planning to conduct security operations against the Lebanese Army under the leadership of the terrorist organization’s leaders who are outside the country.
