Socheata underscored at a press briefing, “We remain committed to resolving disputes through legal and diplomatic means, and observing the ceasefire with transparency, honesty, and integrity to quickly stabilize the situation.”

The spokesperson also reiterated that the Royal Government, the Royal Armed Forces, and the Cambodian people remain united in defending the territorial integrity, dignity, and sovereignty of the nation.

The Defense Ministry spokesperson also urged all media outlets, social media users, and the people in general to refrain from sharing unverified information, including photos and videos, related to the current situation on the Cambodia-Thailand border.

She also called on Thai media outlets and social media users to stop spreading misinformation, which could increase tensions and distort the current situation on the ground.

Socheata stated that these actions do not comprise the will of both countries, which are currently working to achieve a peaceful solution and restore peace in both nations.
