“They are surely carrying out a plan on how to reach at the lithium belonging to the Bolivian people, and I believe that a foreign media outlet must responsibly denounce this fact,” he stated, commenting on an audio recording broadcast by the Spanish source EDATV.
The legislator noted that Claure is the operative in Bolivia, and his pawns are the current presidential candidates from the entire right wing, “both the old and the new contenders” ahead of the general elections on August 17.
Felix Ajpi insisted that the sole objective is to seize all the Bolivian people’s wealth, and remembered that he has long been denouncing this scheme.
“What they are seeking is to seize the hydrocarbon tap, lithium, and all the strategic resources of Latin America and the Caribbean at the doorstep of the United States,” he stated emphatically in statements to Prensa Latina.
For his part, Representative Alberto Astorga, aligned with the Free Alliance of far-right candidate Jorge Tuto Quiroga, referring to Claure’s recording, considered that this proves an agreement.
Claure speaks of buying Bolivian media outlets “for nothing” in the recording broadcast by the Spanish outlet.
