Cuban expert discusses investments in Caribbean islands

Havana, Aug 5 (Prensa Latina) Cuban economist and researcher Jose Luis Perello examines in his comments on social networks the bets to attract investors in the Caribbean islands.

For his usual analysis on Facebook, Perello considers the study of investment programs as an extremely interesting topic to be taken into account.

He points out that for many Caribbean islands, it is no longer just about lovely beaches and a relaxed or luxury lifestyle to attract buyers.

Political and social volatility in the United States is fueling a surge of interest in property listings that offer a passport.

More than 400 residences appear in the catalogs of agencies such as Luxury Locations, Sotheby’s International Realty or Henley & Partners, among others.

Five of the region’s islands: Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis and St. Lucia, offer this type of citizenship by investment (CBI) for as little as $200,000.

Citizenship by investment CBI provides a second passport and dual citizenship.
