The military institution pointed out that 16 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the Rostov region and the same number over Bryansk, 12 over the Peninsula of Crimea, four over the Voronezh province, and three over the Oryol province.
The Defense Ministry did not provide details on significant material damage or casualties from the debris falling from the downed drones.
Meanwhile, National Air Transport Agency Rosaviatsia spokesperson Artem Koreniako informed that no temporary airport restrictions were reported in the southeastern Russian region for the second consecutive day, which allowed passenger flow to continue at terminals in cities such as Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Since the beginning of the special military operation on February 24, 2022, drone attacks launched from Ukraine on military and civilian targets in the Russian rear have become routine.
