An official statement noted that the exporting companies seek to diversify their markets, particularly in the Caribbean region, and will hold meetings with their counterparts at the JW Marriott Hotel in Santo Domingo.
The forum will feature a business roundtable between Panamanian entrepreneurs and Dominican buyers from sectors such as food, construction materials, packaging, logistics, manufacturing, marine lubricants, franchising, and pet food.
The MICI stated that this will be the largest Panamanian business delegation to Dominican territory in at least a decade.
At present, some 15 Panamanian companies regularly export to the Dominican Republic and seek to expand their presence, establish strategic alliances, and explore new opportunities.
