Organized by the Sociocultural Project Corazon and the company producing artistic shows Latin Luli’s Productions, the party will take place this August 13, in central spaces of Ciego de Avila city, according to the manager of the institution, Lupe Diaz.

He pointed out that the event will have as protagonists infants and teenagers from homes for children without family protection and young people of different ages living in Ciego de Avila province.

Comparsas, plays, clowns, controversies and improvizing shows presented by different artistic units of the house of culture Jose Inda Hernandez, together with piñatas (container hung up during festivities and hit to release candies from inside), hidden treasures and sale of sweets, will be among the offers for the enjoyment of children.

Díaz explained that the main mission of the 20-year-old Corazón project is to offer a selfless and healing art to relieve the emotional and physical pain of children without family protection.

Among the intentions of the program is to carry out festivities outside their place of residence to incorporate them into social activities, and to have a space for playing and exchange with other children in the community, she said.

Among the artistic groups, local companies such as Tejiendo Sueños, Pasos y Estilos, Polichinela, Son y Armonía, Únicos y brillantes and the children duo of Rap stood out.

The psychologist and advisor of the institution, Nathaly Dueñas, pointed out that these meetings aim to offer an inclusive art therapy to all children alike, both those with typical behavior, as those with special educational needs, among them with Down syndrome.
