The international community’s constant warnings, expressions of concern, and alarm are no longer sufficient, the organization affirmed in a statement responding to a letter sent by United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres regarding reports of sexual violence against Palestinian prisoners.

The institution accused the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of conducting genocide in the Gaza Strip.

The increased Israeli crimes against prisoners in jails, monitored by several specialized institutions, exceed our ability to describe them, the Club stated.

It emphasized that the testimonies and sworn statements obtained from Gaza detainees are conclusive evidence of such violations, including sexual offenses.

A few days ago, the Club and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Commission stated that Israel imposed severe restrictions on the legal teams overseeing the conditions of the thousands of detainees in that country’s prisons.
