During a televised speech, the leader of the political and military movement criticized the cabinet’s decision to task the army with developing an operational plan for the exclusion of weapons from state hands before the end of the year.

Qassem considered that such a step by the Council of Ministers deprives the country of its defensive weapons during an aggression and facilitates the murder of Resistance fighters and their families.

In this regard, he warned the government of exposing the country to a very serious crisis and held it fully responsible for any internal conflict and for abandoning its duty to defend Lebanese territory.

Therefore, they express that Hezbollah, as a Resistance force, does not want sectarian discord, “but there are those who work to provoke it.”

At the same time, they pointed out that the Lebanese government is serving the Israeli-American project of ending the Resistance, even if this leads to civil war and internal conflict.

In a message to the authorities, the Hezbollah leader stressed: “If you feel incapable, leave the enemy before us, and just as Israel’s repeated wars failed, it will fail this time as well.”
