Through his X account, Baqer Qalibaf claimed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he called the “Hitler of the 21st century,” revealed Israel’s plan for the future of the region more openly than ever.
In its message written in Arabic, the legislative authority described Gaza as “the last wall” to contain the Zionist entity.
At the same time, he urged Muslim nations and leaders to unite against Israel and rush to help Palestine “before other territories have their turn”.
On Tuesday, Netanyahu claimed to be on a “historical and spiritual mission” and to feel attached to the vision of so-called “Greater Israel,” which includes territories destined for the Palestinian state and potentially parts of present-day Jordan and Egypt.
The statements provoked reactions from Arab governments and other parts of the world, who considered such comments as a clear manifestation of Israeli expansionist ambitions and an attempt to destabilize security and stability in the region.
