“The Russian president personally and in great detail explained to the US president our conditions for ending the conflict in Ukraine during their historic meeting in Alaska,” Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the former Russian president, “the main thing is that both parties agreed that Kiev and Brussels are responsible for achieving future results in the negotiations to end military actions.”
“After a nearly three-hour conversation, the White House incumbent refused to increase pressure on Russia.
At least for the time being,” Medvedev emphasized.
The Russian official also emphasized that the summit between Putin and Trump demonstrates the possibility of negotiations “without preconditions” and simultaneously with the continuation of the special operation in Ukraine.
