However, experts have already emphasized that fighting the fires is not a hasty task and requires technical specificities, with a string of out-of-control fires currently raging.

However, data collected by the Copernicus European Forest Fire Information System indicated that the statistic is even higher in Spain, where a total of 344,417 hectares were affected by fire this year, as a result of 224 known fires.
