“President Vladimir Putin has given the go-ahead. The first atomic summit in human history will be held in Moscow on September 25,” Likhachev said in response to a press question about the program of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of this nation’s nuclear industry.
The ROSATOM chief also underscored that, during the summit, the President of the Russian Federation, several national leaders, and heads of State and government will discuss issues related to nuclear technologies.
We also look forward to this with the entire nuclear family. Despite the threats and storms generated by sanctions, we remain united. Even representatives of notoriously hostile countries like the United States, France, and Germany continue to tell us that everything will dissipate now and everything will be fine, Likhachev concluded.
