The agenda in both Asian nations will run from August 24 to September 2, according to Executive Decree 110.
In Japan, Noboa hopes to meet with the country’s prime minister, Ishiba Shigeru.
“Japan is a key partner for Ecuador in Asia and this type of meetings at the highest level constitute a key manifestation of political will to deepen bilateral talks and move towards more structured and diversified cooperation”, according to Government spokeswoman Carolina Jaramillo last week.
During the visit to Japanese territory, it is planned to sign a memorandum of understanding to deepen economic and commercial ties between the two countries.
No details are known about the agenda in Vietnam.
Noboa confirmed that he will be accompanied by the Foreign Minister, Gabriela Sommerfeld; and the ministers Danilo Palacios, of Agriculture and Livestock, Luis Alberto Jaramillo, of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fisheries, and Inés Manzano, of Energy.
The delegation will also include the Secretary General for Communication of the Presidency, Irene Vélez, and José Julio Neira, Secretary General for Public Integrity.
The Corporation of Export Organizations of Ecuador detailed in a statement that several of its representatives will accompany the president in Tokyo, since the objective is to consolidate the image of Ecuador as a reliable partner in Asia, open markets and attract investments.
