“Tertulias in the garden” so far this year has been attended by María del Carmen Herrera, heiress of Dulce María Loynaz, and who in one of these spaces spoke about her relationship and coexistence with the writer in her last years.
On that occasion Herrera emphasized her willingness to promote the work of the writer to fulfill the legacy received and provided several personal objects that belonged to Dulce Maria Loynaz.
“Tertulias in the garden” was created last summer to enhance the figure of the famous poet Dulce Maria Loynaz and such was its acceptance by the public and managers that it remained as a fixed space of the programming of the institution which was his residence until the very moment of her death on April 27, 1997.
