The legal body’s statement noted that IB, which was established five decades ago and defines itself as a global leader in international education, seeks to conform Russian youth to Western molds.
“Education, in essence, consists of imposing one’s vision of historical processes, distorting universally known facts, propagandizing against Russia, and inciting interethnic discord,” the public entity states in the press release.
The prosecutor’s office also accused the Swiss NGO of “calling for the international isolation of Russia,” publicizing “materials that discredit the Russian Army,” and “announcing non-traditional values based on the ideology of extremist organizations.”
An entity declared undesirable loses the right to create structures and legal entities in Russia, carry out projects, and spread information.
