The contest is organized with the support of PAHO/WHO (Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization), IOM (International Agency for Migration), FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) representations in the Caribbean island, UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund), UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) and WFP (World Food Programme).

With a deadline that closes on October 1st, the event also has the collaboration of the edition Photographic November 19 – Cuba’s Photographic Library.

The contest is open to young people between 15 and 35 years old living in this Antillean nation.

“This is your opportunity to show, with your camera or your cell phone, how you imagine a more just, healthy and sustainable future,” says the call on the website of the United Nations in Cuba.

It also notes that “fresh, creative and youthful images are expected in the context of the 80th anniversary of the United Nations”.

The text announces that the works chose will be part of a special exhibition in Photographic November 2025, the largest event of photography in Cuba.

Topics for inspiration can be collaboration, partnerships and teamwork to achieve common goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
