The military institution announced on its official Telegram channel that 15 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over Rostov province, four over Oryol province, three over Belgorod province, and two each of Bryansk and Kursk provinces.
Rostov Governor Yury Slyusar informed that a fire broke out on the roof of a residential building in the provincial capital following the fall of an enemy drone.
Slyusar said a commission assessed the damage to the property and clarified that all necessary assistance will be provided to the residents.
Since the beginning of the special military operation on February 24, 2022, drone attacks launched from Ukraine on military and civilian targets in the Russian rear have become routine.
