Two on line sessions will later take the delegates to the University of El Bosque for personal debates.
According to Dr. Isabel Cuadros, founder of the Afecto Association Against Child Abuse, who spoke to Prensa Latina, there will be a significant number of lectures on conflict resolution, victim treatment, and forensic evaluation, among other topics.
She emphasized that the objective is to contribute to eliminating all forms of violence against children in the country.
The Afecto Association’s goals include preventing all possible forms of child and adolescent abuse, raising awareness about this issue among the general population.
They also work to develop responses in partnership with civil society and institutions, while seeking to serve as a consulting and advisory body on the subject at the local, municipal, national, and international levels.
As part of their mission, they provide training in the prevention, care, and intervention of child abuse; sexual abuse; and the promotion of good treatment and violence against women.
