According to Marcos Andrade, secretary general of the National Conference of Independent Trade Union Unity (Conusi), this social organization is duly recognized by the authorities.
In this sense, he said, it is entitled to receive the funds that the State is obliged to provide to guarantee union training and the development of social and economic education, in accordance with the provisions of article 380 of the Labor Code and the executive decrees that regulate it.
However, he denounced, the head of Labor has omitted, refused or unjustifiably delayed the authorization of the distribution of these necessary resources, which contravenes the laws that establish that these amounts must be delivered monthly.
Andrade referred in particular to the five percent of the so-called Educational Insurance, destined for union training and the conformation and work of the Union Education Commission, the body which determines the use of these resources.
