During this day the activists will meet in a plenary session to discuss the conclusions of the working groups held the day before and will also approve the plan of action to be followed in the coming months to support the people and the government of Cuba.

The president of the Friends of Cuba Committee of Cali, Diego Guzman, will proceed to hand over the pro tempore presidency of the Solidarity Movement to the house that will hold that distinction for the next year.

The meeting, which has as its headquarters the building of the Sindicato Unico de Trabajadores de la Educación del Valle (Sutev), has been held since last Friday under the slogan “No more blockade against Cuba, Enough is enough!

One of the activities held yesterday was the celebration of the forum “Update on the Resurgence of the Blockade against Cuba and Continental Solidarity as a response”.

In that space, the general coordinator of the Latin American and Caribbean Continental Network of Solidarity with Cuba and Just Causes, Norberto Galiotti, explained how Washington’s unilateral siege against the Antillean country is intensifying.
