“This year, the 10th anniversary Eastern Economic Forum was held, at which a total of 358 agreements worth 6.58 trillion rubles (about $81 billion) were signed,” Trutnev told reporters.
He also noted that the event served as a platform for summarizing the work of the past 10 years.
“At the direction of President Vladimir Putin, we continue to work for the benefit of the Far East, for the benefit of our homeland. Social programs demanded by the people, mechanisms for stimulating the economy, and attracting investors have been launched. The instructions given by the president will be fully implemented,” he said.
The business program of the forum included more than 165 events on this topic. More than 1,000 speakers participated. The forum also hosted meetings of representatives of business circles from Russia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Business dialogues between Russia and China were also held, with India, Laos, Thailand, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
The 10th Eastern Economic Forum was held in Vladivostok, Russia, from September 3 to 6. The main theme of the 2025 Eastern Economic Forum was “Far East: Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity.” The forum’s program included more than 100 business events and was divided into seven main thematic areas.
