During a meeting in this capital with Alejandra del Moral Vela, Executive Director of the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation, Diaz-Canel also stated that the “level of political dialogue with Mexico is excellent.”
The head of State received Del Moral Vela at the Palace of the Revolution on Thursday afternoon. She traveled to Cuba leading a delegation for a working visit.
The text reads, “The president highlighted the relations of brotherhood, respect, and understanding that have always existed between Cuba and Mexico.”
Diaz-Canel also commented that the strength of official ties “has to do with ties among peoples and families.”
He also highlighted the collaboration with the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation, especially in agriculture, and spoke of continuing to expand working relationships.
Del Moral Vela, in turn, stated that “it was a luxury for her team to be in Cuba,” and referred to the “successful project that has been consolidated with farmers in the Cuban provinces of Artemisa and Mayabeque.”
