Cuba: Blends of flavors and aromas at Varadero Gourmet

Matanzas, Cuba, Sept 12 (Prensa Latina) With innovation and sustainability as pillars, the second day of the 15th edition of the Varadero Gourmet International Festival makes blends of flavors and aromas a huge gastronomic fiesta.

Once again, with Plaza America Convention Center as the epicenter of lectures, presentations, workshops, and competitions, Varadero Gourmet 2025, following its first day, will showcase a varied program aimed at reviving Cuba’s culinary roots.

“Innovation and Excellence for Gastronomic Development,” a conference led by Sonia Jimenez, global corporate director of the Blue Diamond Chain, will kick off the event, which will once again feature spaces for the fusion of Cuban and Latin American dishes.

According to the culinary event program, cocktail competitions in both classic and flair styles, pairings, and visits to various stands will also be the focus of the day.

According to chef Miguel Angel Jimenez, it’s crucial that events like these showcase the native and distinctive flavor that distinguishes Cuban cuisine from other parts of the world. When it comes to seeking unparalleled experiences, food has great potential.

With representatives from all over the country and foreign guests, the 15th edition of Varadero Gourmet will run until the 13th with the goal of combining borderless flavors with Cuban cuisine in a fusion of blends.
