The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates criticized in a statement the “systematic Israeli campaign aimed at destabilizing the situation” in the West Bank.
The diplomatic institution also questioned the lack of a clear response from the international community, which it considered encourages the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accelerate its unilateral and illegal measures.
Presidential Spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh rejected on Thursday evening the signing, some few hours earlier, of a framework agreement to expand a large settlement project in the West Bank and statements made by Netanyahu, who affirmed that there will never be a Palestinian State.
Rudeineh stated that the establishment of our State is inevitable and essential to achieve peace and stability in the region, because there will be no security in the Middle East without it.
The spokesperson highlighted the growing international movement in support of the Palestinian cause and the rejection of Israeli colonization.
