Called by Syrian and Palestinian activists, the demonstration unfolded under the motto “All for Gaza, All for Palestine”, in response to the intensification of Israeli attacks on the Palestinian enclave, which caused thousands of victims and massive forced displacement.
The participants carried letters demanding the immediate lifting of the harassment, the opening of border crosses and the urgent sending of humanitarian aid, while denouncing the use of the hammock as a weapon of war and the systematic crimes committed by Israel against the civil population.
The campaign coordinator, Moaz Al-Baba, declared that the Palestinian village had been a victim during decades of continuous crimes by Israeli occupation forces.
In this context, I am calling on the international community to act urgently and decisively in the face of what is considered a flagrant violation of international law.
The protesters urged the United Nations and other international organizations to exercise effective pressure on Israel to stop what they defined as a “deliberate genocide” and the forced displacement of Gazans, especially of women, children and elders.
The demonstration in this place was reporting on a new phase of the Israeli military offensive in the center of the Gaza Strip, centered on the attack on the city of Gaza, with intense bombings that have caused decades of deaths and inheritances, as well as the forced displacement of families trying to destroy the city and continued low fire.
