“Cuba has contributed to the training of dozens of young Swazis in various sectors, and there is a willingness to continue expanding and diversifying bilateral ties and collaboration,” the Foreign Ministry stated on the social network X.
Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1995, both nations have collaborated in different areas. Cuba maintains a stable medical presence in the region, and several young people are currently pursuing vocational training programs on the Caribbean island.
Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) has always maintained a firm position of solidarity, materialized in its support against the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed on Cuba by the US government.
